Towards Insanity…

Whats the difference between the educated and the un-educated?…It is the ability to have a different, relistic approach towards things that happen, to understand a problem to the crux, to put forward what is learnt into action, to work for a gud cause and not bcos of a reason. But when i got this mail i felt so bad wht the F*** is this!!! …how people go exorbitantly insane over such an issue…esp the educated…I always had a thought of wht vivekananda said…he said “giv me 10 young energetic youth i will change the fate of India”…i always felt there are millions of such young youth now but the problem is we dont hav a vivekananda to guide with tht impeccable vision…but after reading this mail, i must admit…now there is neither vivekananda nor the youth he wanted…

Now by blocking or black out of this movie wht the hell WE are going to prove?…the movie maker, the producer, the actor, music director and hell lot involved in tht movie hav already made millions out of tht…if i am rgt almost all the distributorship in karnataka has been given to kannadiga distributors only…if this is a real blackout.. Then it’s gonna affect another kannadiga…if u hav the broad minded feel like me… It’s another INDIAN…its like amputating right hand with own left hand…

We all esp the educated speak WE as INDIAN are united…yes we jus speak and never in action…imagine a situation… If at all there is a war tomorrow and at the LoC a soldier saying…”i want to boycott it is lead by a malayalee or a Punjabi or a tamilian”…were we will be??? …is this Unity in Diversity wht we all speak proudly abt ourself???

Let’s go by statistics over this…

Now whts the 40% doing?…i bet they are 99% the so called educated people like the one who composed tht mail, sitting at home, listening to music and watching MTV……there is no nonpareil system…and now law is not an exception…we made the law…dont blame the politicians… politicians are not born…we make them too…Its not jus a tamilian, kannadiga issue…this single issue is a perfect example of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs…

Its not jus tamilian’s or kannadiga’s need…I understand its overall basic need of any human being…Now unless and otherwise we never gonna achieve or resolve this basic physiological needs…WE never gonna make it to the top…The fight fot this basic needs are never ending one until and unless human species goes extinct…If we are the immoderate beings, lets use our sixth sense…we can settle things in this NEED race in innumerable ways, not always as a cut throat…and ofcourse not jus talks in Inter-State Tribunals…I know wht the political ass holes do when they meet every year jus for this Cauvery issue…Don’t act like the belittled mind of politicians, who are still throwing their own $hit over each other, with the umpteen no of issues like, Cauvery, bofors, nationality for prime minister post, kashmir, LTTE, etc etc jus for the vote bank. We have enough capability to solve any problem individually as well as being united as THE ONE. Don’t we have enough technical capability to arrive at a verdict solution for this? … First of all we all have to understand INDIA ia a country whose economic growth, stability blah blah blah are all still dependent on monsoon…yes it is a bitter fact!!!

We all know Cherrapunji is credited as being one of the world’s wettest places. But how many really know tht, it is place with acute water scarcity also…How many of us hav really thought abt the situation of people sitting in the middle of no where in those eastern and other remote parts?…we all sit in the conditioned room and write a mail to black out a movie jus bcos of some injustice done.

I am a Tamilian (Now I prefer not to be a tamilian nor an Indian, but beyond this flesh I still hav humanity to call myself a human being) Whether I agree or not tht there is an injustice done to kannadiga, but neither violence nor boycott of a movie is the solution. If u ask me I would prefer to ban and boycott all the movies…In leisure, Simple mind look for entertainment, an avid mind think abt service.

We all have forgotten the tender coconut and we feel proud to have coke, pesi, diet pepsi and all tht sucks! We allow them to put bore wells in our own place and sell them as product to us, so that they make billions out of that…Is it not insane?…What we need is not foreign exchange nor FDI…we hav everything in place…why can’t we effectively utilize the human as well shared resource???’

In India, overall water demand will increase from 552 BCM to 1050 BCM by 2025, which will require the use of all the available water resources in the country (World Bank 1999). Of the present water usage, 92% is devoted to agriculture, with roughly 3% used in industry and only 5% for domestic purposes like drinking water and sanitation (WRI 2000). Demand from the industrial and domestic sectors is expected to increase with the growing population, urbanization, and industrialization.

In the country, the per capita availability of freshwater has dropped from over 5,000 cubic meters per year in 1947 to less than 2,000 cubic meters per year in 1997 (World Bank 1999). By 2025, this figure will fall further to 1,500 cubic meters per year, which is well below the level at which water stress is considered to occur. Already, six of India’s twenty major river basins fall below the water scarcity threshold of 1,000 cubic meters per year, with five more basins to be added to the list within the next three decades (World Bank 1999).

Well I can keep going on this…But finally wht’s my request is, I agree there is a problem now and its going to get worsen in the future…but for god sake u all educated morons, understand its not a kannadiga nor tamilian nor malayalee nor a punjabi’s problem…Its OUR problem…try to realize tht…

We all need to hav a broder perspective looking into things…either its personal or social life…May be i can post a new blog how to overcome this situation in next blog ;-)… Bcos i am not the one who always quetch abt a situation or problem!!!Finally I thanked god for not making Cauvery to flow between India and Pakistan.

PS : I am neither a Rajini fan nor a kannadiga hatred…This is my own feelings, perception and never intended to hurt anyone’s feel…Many may feel i got deviated from the subject, but i feel nothing wrong in having a broader sense approach to an issue.
