Pain and Pleasure…

I am bit confused…whether it should be Pleasurable Pain or Painful Pleasure or Pleasure in Pain or Pain in Pleasure…you take it the way you want, it would still make sense…Saturday I never think about getting up early but this Saturday I got up by 11:00 AM…Is that the post all about?…The reason behind myself getting up so early (ya this is too early) was…I gonna get tattooed …this is going to be my first tattoo… asked vivek to join me as he was still high bcos of last night party…I absolutely don’t have any idea how its gonna feel like… but very much interested in getting one done on my back long time… so jus made it today…

“Spider Tattoo Centre” This tattoo centre was just 1 minute walk from our apartment. As I entered the guy was ready with the printout of the design which I gave. It seems he was eagerly expecting me…The first question…”was this going to be your first tattoo?”…well I don’t come from a tribal community to get tattooed once in a month…”Do you know how it’s done?”… I am not quite sure of modern age tattoo equipment (though it’s all gonna be a needle finally) but I remember how it was done in my village…usually it’s a granny who do it with normal needle with some herb juice and singing along as she tattoo…many have got temperature running high the next day bcos of getting tattooed… “well it will be little bit painful and will be over in no time”…now what’s that no time…the design which I gave him, even as a novice about tattooing I know its gonna take minimum 1 hour…”so let’s get to business”…ya that sounds fun…

He applied some oil on the back and pressed the wax paper having my design. Asked to look back is that placing ok…though I hate looking back, in this I can’t take chance as it’s something which gonna remain forever… All set…He started the handy machine and that sound was really annoying me along with hard rock which he was playing…That first touch he made… I felt the infliction…OMG…is this going to be like this all the way? … 5 minutes gone… I started feeling the pain…it’s not just pain; it’s kinda tingling burning etc etc etc feel… I asked him what he is doing. … He said he is drawing the outline first…WTF…majority of my design involves lines… 30 minutes… I felt I was testing my forbearance to the core…just asked him to give me a minute break… he was so cool and making fun of me by imitating the sound I was making… I just pulled my Bluetooth set and started some of my peppy playlist…at least by now I don’t hear that annoying sound made by the handy tattoo instrument… now its jus music and pain… but when I dint had the Bluetooth I know when he is gonna press the needle… now since I was listening to music all his piercing was a painful surprise… another 30 minutes gone…the music made me to forget about the pain though it was really painful… one of the fun statement he made was “hey man think of your girl friend”… is he telling me to think of something more painful so that this won’t appear painful or is that o thinking about the girl friend is so pleasant that it will surpass the feel of pain?…anyway I don’t know and I replied “alas I don’t have one”… (he he he he he he… I speak only truth)

Now vivek came in… I pleaded him to see what the hell is going on at my back…now the guy understood that I am asking about it and signaled my friend not to tell anything…Vivek replied back don’t worry even if u tell I won’t tell him…what a life saving friends I have :-P… vivek told he is 75% done with the outline… that sounded like a beer rain in Sahara for me… vivek told me “just go through it”…. Huh…what a philosophy…too add fuel to the fire the tattooing guy said “No pain No gain”… after another 30 minutes of grueling, pinching moment he was done with his job and was jus brushing up and reviewing the work… vivek peeped in and told “hey this line is not that sharp like the other end”… “Wow what a discovery” I thought to myself… the tattooing guy said “no problem…will just do it in minute”… finally after bearing that 1 minute pain, I am done with my tattoo… And this is how it looks now (ya some 20cm x 10cm) … I think for a week or so I have to take care little bit so that it can remain for eternity of my life…

Ya i love that Yin & Yang…

We 4 decided to get tattooed… I am done and through it… I am waiting for rest 3 to go through the same pain so that I can have some fun that time… Vivek has come up with his design… I bet that would be damn cool and sexy when he get it tattooed, others too… Rest, I got a long week next week to slog
