Memories & Mind…

August 27th 2007 in From my experience..., Me and Shakes-BEER, Photos and Thoughts..., Random rambles

Unfortunately… These are some of my tamizh scribbling (some in english)…so better those who know tamizh click on to enlarge the same and to read.Neither Shakespeare nor Byron were my neighbor, else i would have asked them to express the same in English if they were interested.

total kalakkals! thanks for transliterations and the translations :)
after understanding the meaning of each verse I can say this -
love the way the words flow, the figures of speech used, the way in which the mind is forced to quickly change from one scenario to the other as I read along, the depth of thoughts…
keep them coming!

[...] Ok. This post is dedicated to HE and SHE. I know I am not that good in expressing few things in words especially when it’s about feeling’s, emotion (anyone objecting?) and comes to playing around English for the very same. I am very very moderate and all I know is framing sentence with “If, is, was, that, the, here, and, there etc”. I ended up with TC (Transfer Certificate) for practicing the words “I” “YOU” “LOVE” in some combination to my then English teacher. Blame that teacher for my little proficiency in English today. So this is an attempt to translate one of the few verses of HE and SHE in Tamil. Yes I am not that bad when it’s with Tamil to play around since it’s my mother tongue and I do have slight inclination to scribble as and when. Even though I have some of the very same feeling expressed in some of my Tamil scribbling, this is quiet different experience. I want to convey something which is fortunately told by someone but just langusge difference. So I have just translated what HE and SHE conversed in their verses. I know it’s not fair for those who don’t know Tamil but then it’s good that you are lucky enough not to read my bumped off version. You can check here for the original verse and i think it will very much impress you. BTW I don’t know for sure whether SHE is an artist too but all the painting SHE has displayed carries the signature “ARUNTHATHI”. Nice name ;-). I have sent the same translation to HE only as I don’t know anything about SHE. Alas, I came to know that HE know Tamil but not that good in reading it but HE has promised to hire someone to go through the same. Well in case if HE and SHE gave a nod I shall try continuing murdering their other verses and future verses in my own way. In case my scribbling made sense to those who know Tamil you can check my other scribbling here. [...]

Is he Half Way To God?

After reading my post and seeing my tattoo many raised the question “How harebrained you are to get the pain deliberately and say that pain is pleasure”…well i think i replied almost to all about the same…but this one tranced me to stance…i think this would have taken him half way to Lord Shiva…and finally [...]

Diwali In Helsinki

Ya… That’s how it sounded to me when I heard “Finnish Firework Championship – August 31st 2007”. It was a spectacular display by the lakeside and never thought my hands will go numb on cold while taking the photos. The show started sharp by 10:30 (I emphasis 10:30 because these people are so time conscious [...]
