How come?????? some time or many a times u hav to go thru all by urself… explicit context can be dangerous… but yes i realized its true in a way… if u let ur intuition drive u… u may find it!

But what does tht has to do with losing hope?

U bump into a really damn ******** problem… U hear a voice inside u saying “Hold on - This too shall pass blah blah blah blah blah”…

the point here is “HOLD ON”…

And the over the time, the same voice says.. “Let it go - Its not happening… Lets accept the facts of life”

now the point is “LET IT GO”…

The time it takes to say “let it go” from “Hold on” matters more…

Its the perception how u see wht i try to say by (or the movie part) “Losing hope”…

“Losing hope” - I dont see it as failure or anything of tht sort… Not sure how u took though…

hmmm….maybe it isn’t failure as u percieve it to be…but although i havent watched the movie myself…i would never agree with a quote like that…

Do u mean it’s more like… not letting go of hope, but instead letting go of expectations..? Hope isn’t necessarily same as not accepting the facts of life… it is something that keeps u going even when u know u failed badly… kinda opens the way to try again. I myself couldn’t really afford losing hope…

May be bcos u hav thought hope is THE thing which if u lose means losing everything… Is it possible.. really possible to put u in my situation to get u know how i took? EXPECTATIONS!!! Huh tht will open up one hell of another perception…

Exactly… May be try seeing the “hope” as just another word!

or

“Contended are those who don’t care about losing anything”

I don’t know will any one of the above will hold good. But again its all how we perceive. Be it money, fame, for here let it be hope. May be that’s why we get hurt and hit when we lose it. Rather than trying to define hope, one must try to find really FREEDOM means to them. In a way I see freedom is free from everything which may include *HOPE* too. When you start realizing/accepting the facts of life you may end up not bothering about losing even hope.

May be 5 shots of vodka and this topic would enlighten more. What you say? It’s all the usual *MAY BE* stuff.

Hahaa… :-p well hope cannot be compared to money or fame… it’s not something which we use for gaining power/pleasure/etc in the material world but instead for empowering ourselves…

Actually hope would be more comparable with freedom… u talk a lot of freedom… but maybe u should free yourself from the whole concept of freedom? how does the abstract freedom differ from any other abstract concept? Maybe if we stop reaching for the freedom we find that actually nothing was ever limiting us…

Lol and I def won’t need 5 shots of vodka for enlightening conversations… it would be the opposite… after that my arguments would be finished altogether
